Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has criticized Minister Tzachi Hanegbi's statement that Hamas's rocket attack was minor because it did not hit the center of the country.
A statement on behalf of Netanyahu's office said, "The prime minister totally rejects the statement that there is a distinction between the [Gaza] envelope and Tel Aviv. Hamas' aggression is not minor, and there is no distinction between Hamas firing at southern communities and shooting at any other area in the State of Israel."
