Meretz announced that it would raise a bill to dissolve the Knesset following the resignation of Defense Minister Liberman. Meretz chairman MK Tamar Zandberg said that "We have dismissed Liberman, a racist and corrupt minister who has derailed Israeli politics, and the rest of the cabinet must follow him, resign as well, and rid us of a bad government, with corruption, racism and loyalty laws."
