The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office filed an indictment against Shalom Hazan, who serves as a community rabbi and a synagogue in Jerusalem.
The indictment was filed for a large number of offenses of indecent assault on minors under the age of 16 without their free consent.
In this framework, the Defendant met with minors aged 6-12 when they came to the synagogue, among other things, in order to help maintain the house of worship.
According to the indictment during the meetings, the defendant sexually assaulted minors and then paid them money.
