The Ashdod Sports Club has fired coach Blagoja "Bobi" Milevski, following a 4-3 loss to Bnei Sakhnin, which left the team next to last in Israeli soccer's Premier League with a record of two wins, two draws and six losses.
The Macedonian international played for Ashdod, among other teams. Among the candidates to replace him are Guy Luzon, who was fired from last-place Beitar Jerusalem, and Ran Ben Shimon, who is coaching the national team of Cyprus. Other teams to fire their coaches this year are Maccabi and Hapoel Haifa and Bnei Sakhnin.
