The senior member of the Likud Party continued, "A weak response is not a recipe for calm, but rather the opposite, a prolonged lack of quiet. A weak response is not a recipe for calming, but rather a restlessness. The more Hamas feels that Israel is not hitting it with the necessary force, its boldness will continue to grow."
