Prime Minister Netanyahu expressed his deep sorrow over the fall of Lieutenant Colonel M. in operational activity in Gaza.
"I bow my head on the fall of the late Lieutenant Colonel M., a glorious fighter who fell in the IDF's operation in the Gaza Strip last night. The day will come when the fullness of his heroism will be told. Israeli citizens owe him a huge debt.
"Our forces acted valiantly tonight. I salute Lieutenant Colonel M., his family and his comrades in arms. May his memory be blessed."
