The New York Times reported on Sunday that top Saudi officials examined the possibility of assassinating senior Iranian officials, including the head of the Revolutionary Guards' Quds Force, Qassim Suleimani.
According to the report, senior Saudi officials contacted an Israeli with an intelligence background, among other people, to examine the possibility of carrying out the assassination.
