President Reuven Rivlin met, today, with a delegation of civic and business leaders from Michigan and representatives of the Detroit Metropolitan Jewish Federation, headed by Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan.
The president welcomed the delegation to Israel and Jerusalem and noted that Jewish life in Detroit has a long history, stretching back to the mid-1700s. He thanked members of the Jewish community for their partnership with the municipalities of Migdal Haemek, Natzrat Illit and the Jezreel Valley.
