Moshe Lion's campaign headquarters filed a complaint this afternoon with the Israel Police against the Jerusalem mayoral rival Ofer Berkovitch, claiming "forgery and fraud", "using the document to obtain something" and "accepting something fraudulently."
Sources at Lion's headquarters claim that Berkowitz's headquarters has been flooding Jerusalem since last Friday with false posters and pamphlets posing as Lion's, in order to incite the secular public against the ultra-Orthodox public and vice versa. The complaint was filed after Berkovitch's headquarters failed to respond to a letter demanding a stop to the campaign literature.
