A 53-year-old Arab pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Road 557 near the Jabra checkpoint from Taibe towards Avnei Hefetz. Paramedics pronounced his death at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, a man of about 50, was evacuated to Meir Hospital in Kfar Sava. The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
