Israeli Omri Casspi, who now plays for the Memphis Grizzlies in North America's National Baskeball Association, received his championship ring, Monday evening, for his contribution to the Golden State Warrior's 2017-18 championship.
Injured before the playoffs, he was cut to make room on the roster for another player. The rest of the Warrior's received their rings last month. Casspi was given his ring during a ceremony before the Grizzlies' 117-101 loss to the Warriors in Oakland, which he watched from the bench due to an injury. American Israeli David Blatt, who coaches Olympiacos Piraeus in Greece, has a ring for his partial season at the helm of the Cleveland Cavaliers when they won the NBA championship in 2016.
