The northern section of the Highway 6 trans-Israel toll road from Yokne'am to the Tel Kashish interchange will open for traffic on Wednesday next week.
The length of the new segment will be approximately 5 kilometers, and will include a 1.7 km (1.2 mile) Yokneam tunnel with 3 lanes in each direction, a three-way interchange at Tel Qashish, and a 700-meter-long Viaduct bridge to the northeast. It should be emphasized that Highway 6 subscribers with the Derech Eretz franchise will not be considered Trans-North 6 subscribers unless they are registered separately as subscribers to this franchise.
