Labor and Welfare Minister Haim Katz has sent a letter to Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked to welcome the move to erase criminal records of members of the Ethiopian community.
Katz said, "Our office handles a wide range of law-abiding people, including Ethiopian immigrants. In light of your call, We ask to submit all of the requests of these minors and young people in a concentrated manner. This move will be integrated into the treatment components of the minors and young people, and may even constitute a turning point in their rehabilitation."
