In the wake of the large number of cases of measles in Israel, Chairman Haim Bibas of the Center for Local Government has announced that the center has decided to recommend to the Health Ministry that parents be required to present vaccination records as a condition for pre-school, nursery school or kindergarden registration.
The mayor of Modiin-Maccabim-Reut said, "This will significantly reduce the incidence of infection."
