Meir Indor, chairman of the Almagor terror victims organization, claims that "the death penalty for terrorists law is a media stunt of Liberman, this time in a joint production with Bennett and with Netanyahu's agreement - on the backs of terror victims."
Indor notes that the law does not apply to civilian courts where many of the terrorists are tried. It is intended for the military courts and is not a law but a minor amendment to the existing death penalty law, and in addition prosecutors will not demand the death penalty because the attorney general and his people oppose the law.
