The driver suspected of killing eight members of the Atar family in an accident on Route 90 is Loren Ankari, a 52-year-old resident of Giv'on. His claim that he has a permit for medical cannabis was rejected by the police.
The police also claimed that the suspect was disrupting the investigation, and that he was suspected of manslaughter, obstructing an investigation, passing when the road was not available and driving under the influence of drugs.
