Dani Dayan, Israel's Consul General in New York, wrote on Twitter, Sunday evening (Israel Time) "I told the Birthright Excel alumni, “Israel might not have the authority to combat antisemitism in other countries but has the responsibility, and we will meet that responsibility. An antisemitic act, even thousands of miles from our shores, is domestic matters for us.”
