After lengthy negotiations, the first collective bargaining agreement has been signed at high-tech company ECI of Petach Tikva, which deals in communications. The agreement is for four years and applies to 650 employees.
The agreement includes a significant increase in the pension provisions of the employees, so that the pension and severance pay base will increase by 20 percent, and contribution by the employer will be increased from 6.5 percent to 7.5 percent.
