Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein welcomed Thursday the approval given to advance construction procedures for Jews in the wholesale market in Hevron.
Writing on Twitter, Edelstein said, "We will continue to promote construction and housing units for new families. The development of the Jewish community in the city of the forefathers is extremely important and strengthens our hold on a place where our roots are deep, as we read in this week's Torah portion."
