Chairwoman Tamar Zandberg of the Meretz Party has sent a letter to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, urging him to reconsider his intention to go to the swearing-in of incoming Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro and not to invite him to visit Israel.
Zandberg claimed, "This is the granting of legitimacy by the State of Israel to serious acts, violations of human rights, illegitimate statements and hatred of women."
