Chairman Gadi Yarkoni of the Eshkol Regional Council has responded to the finding of an incendiary balloon in one of the region's kindergardens by saying, "The residents of Eshkol and the Gaza vicinity are showing exceptional responsibility. Our residents are alert and attentive to the guidelines and know how to identify the burning items that land in our territory and to act in accordance with the life-saving guidelines."
Yarkoni continued. "I am waiting for the Israeli government to show its responsibility towards its citizens and to put an end to the ongoing terrorism in order to ensure the security of the residents. The handwriting is on the wall. It's your responsibility."
