Members of the extremist haredi-religious Peleg Yerushalmi Jerusalem faction are expected to demonstrate at 16:00 today on Jabotinsky Street at the corner of Hashomer Street on the outskirts of Bnei Brak and block roads, a week after yeshiva student Yisrael Meir Elyashiv was arrested at the faction's election headquarters for refusing to report to the Israel Defense Forces.
At first members sought to protest at the beginning of the week, but because of the fear of harming their political power, they delayed the demonstrations until after the elections.
