The Israel Police's National Unit for Investigation of Jailers and the Diamond Unit at the Israel Tax Authority have arrested seven suspects and detained two others for questioning under warning of prosecution on suspicion of alleged involvement in fraud, receiving things by fraud and breach of trust, offenses under the Income Tax Ordinance and other offenses.
Among the detainees is an officer serving in the Israel Prison Service, who received valuable favors in violation of the law.
