The Labor, Welfare and Health Committee of the Knesset, headed by MK Eli Elalouf, approved a second and third reading of a bill by MK Oded Forer and other MKs that will allow HMO members to purchase drugs registered for them in a digital register at each pharmacy.
According to the bill, each pharmacy will now be able to sell patients prescription drugs to them, even if it does not work in an arrangement with the health fund that issued the prescription.
