In a post on Twitter, Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu expressed sorrow over the tragic accident near the dead sea, writing:
"The heart is torn in light of the heavy disaster that took the life of a whole family. My wife and I mourn together with all Israeli citizens for the lives that were ended and send condolences from the depth of our hearts to the family and to the people of Psagot. Today, when many Israeli citizens take advantage of the Shabbaton for travel in our country, I ask you to do everything to return home safely."
