A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of snatching thousands of shekels from a senior citizen who withdrew cash from an automatic teller machine on Dizengoff Street in Tel Aviv.
Police officers in the area heard the shouts of the victim and chased down the suspect, who was detained for questioning. During the day he will be brought to the Tel Aviv Magistrates Court for a hearing on the police request to extend his detention.
