A senior Palestine Liberation Organization official has told the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation that the decision of the organization's central council to stop security coordination with Israel and to suspend its recognition would not be implemented "from today to tomorrow".

The official said, "We have set up a committee that will convene tomorrow for the first time and will consist of representatives of the PLO, the Palestinian government and the security forces. It will discuss the ways to implement the decisions of the PLO Central Council and examine what can be implemented and how."
