Military Advocate General, Major General Sharon Afek, has rejected the findings of the IDF's initial investigation into the circumstances of the death of a Gaza paramedic who was killed during disturbances at the Gaza border and ordered military police investigators to open a criminal investigation.
The IDF Spokesperson's Office said "an operational debriefing was conducted, as well as an examination by the General Staff's investigation team" before the findings were transferred to the Judge Advocate General's Office.
