The staff for Jerusalem mayoral candidate Yossi Deitch responded to the report according to which he was offered a rotation for the position of mayor if he drops out of the race and lends his support to Shas and Degel Hatorah candidate Moshe Leon.
"Such a proposal did come to Deitch from Leon, but it was immediately refused. Degel Hatorah apparently has a growing fear that Leon will lose. Yossi Deitsch is running to the end, and with the help of God he will win."
