Former Israeli artist Dror Feiler, who lives in Sweden and is considered a leading activist in the boycott movement against Israel, has recently asked the Israeli Embassy in Stockholm for his Israeli citizenship back, according to Channel Ten Television.

Feiler denies that this is a provocation attempt, saying he wanted to come to Israel and visit his 95-year-old mother. whom he has not seen since 2009. Feiler said that he decided to take this step because his requests in recent years to enter Israel with his Swedish passport to visit his mother were rejected. Now Interior Minister Aryeh Deri will have to decide whether to grant Feiler citizenship or not.
