The cabinet has approved a draft bill to allow the general public to view the main sports broadcasts of the top leagues in soccer and basketball, as well as the broadcasts of Israel's national teams in these sports on the commercial and public channels.
Most of them are curently broadcast on cable or satellite sports channels requiring payment.
