Director-General Yuval Rotem of the Foreign Ministry said, Sunday, "History has proven that antisemitism may start with verbal aggression, but it is often followed by murderous acts of violence."
Writing on Twitter, in the wake of Saturday's fatal shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue, he continued, "To prevent more attacks against Jews, the battle against all manifestations of antisemitism must be fierce and global. Condemnations are not enough."
