New York Police department has informed that following the shooting in Pennsylvania, they are deploying heavy weapons teams as well as special officers to synagogues across the city.
"Currently, there is no nexus to NYC", NYPD emphasized, "but we ask that you remain alert and If you see anything suspicious contact 888-NYC-SAFE."
