The Supreme Court accepted (Thursday) the request of the Ministry of Transportation to give them a period of three weeks to submit an update on the process of examining alternatives for closing hinges for construction of the Yehudit Bridge in Tel Aviv.
Requests by the Tel Aviv municipality for a "temporary injunction" was recently rejected In two previous decisions of the High Court of Justice.
It should be noted that last August, the Tel Aviv-Jaffa municipality published a notice announcing the closure of Ayalon Highway to traffic over six weekends to build the Yehudit Bridge.
The alternatives to closing the routes on the Ayalon Highway were intended to minimize the harm to the public on Ayalon and the streets nearby. Following the presentation of the alternatives, how to proceed will be decided.
