The Supreme Court criticized the state this morning in view of the discrepancy of Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz's declarations regarding the construction of the Yehudit pedestrian bridge in Tel Aviv, which was halted due to the controversy over work on the Jewish Sabbath.

The judges wondered why the media implied that the minister had ordered the Ayalon Highway to stop the construction of the bridge and from the state's announcement to the court it was understood that the minister only wanted to examine alternatives for the bridge.
