Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has instructed Director-General Yoav Horowitz of the Prime Minister's Office to find a budget source in order to bear the cost of cancelling the 2018 hot-air balloon festival in the Gaza perimeter, estimated at 700,000 shekels.
The festival was cancelled because of Gaza violence, including the launching of terror kites and balloons. The prime minister has instructed that in all cases, the heads of the local authorities will not bear the costs of cancellation.
