The Shas and Degel HaTorah parties filed a petition to the High Court of Justice demanding that the elections in Elad be postponed.
The court ordered the respondents to the petition, Minister Tzachi Hanegbi, the mayor of Elad and a number of local politicians, to submit their response to the petition by 5 pm.
