Opposition Leader Tzipi Livni (Zionist Union) alleged that "Rivlin's turn has come" following a report that Netanyahu decided against holding early elections due to indications that President Reuven Rivlin wouldn't let him form the next government even if the Likud won.

"After the Arabs, the courts, the Israeli police, bereaved families and the chief of staff - the president's turn has come. Instead of a substantive discussion, every bill is accompanied by mud slinging and to hell with all the rest."
