As of today, driving students can take the theory test from the age of 15 and a half, instead of 16 and three months.

Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz said that lowering the age of study of the theory is intended to provide young people with early knowledge and orientation in the traffic laws, both as regular cyclists and as pedestrians, and to allow 16-year-olds to pass the theory test, to ride legally on electric bicycles and scooters.
