France renewed its call to Israel on Monday to definitively cancel the demolition of illegal Jerusalem-area Bedouin outpost Khan al-Ahmar "and to remove the uncertainty which hangs over the fate of this village, located in an area essential to the continuity of a future Palestinian state and therefore to the viability of the two-State solution."

The call came as part of the Paris government taking note of Sunday's decision by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to postpone the demolition.
