Since beginning of year, no entry of asylum seekers

From the beginning of 2018 until the end of September, there was no entry of asylum seekers to Israel.

As of today, 34,370 asylum seekers reside in Israel, 24,586 of them from Eritrea and 6,966 from Sudan. Since the beginning of the year, 1,941 asylum seekers voluntarily left Israel, according to a report on foreign workers published by the Population Authority.
