Public Safety Minister Gilad Erdan has criticized the European Union's opposition to the uprooting of the illegal Bedouin community of Khan Al-Ahmar, comparing it to the EU's approach to Iran.
Erdan said, "We must only compare the amount of concern that the EU expresses on the alleged violation of human rights in Khan al-Ahmar and zero concern about executions, mass arrests and the persecution of minorities [in Iran]."
