After the cancellation of a merger with Channel 10 Television, the Reshet franchise associated with the former Channel 2 will fire cut 50 positions and Channel Ten will cut wages across the board, according to the Globes financial publication.
According to associates, Reshet's debt stands at 110 million shekels after decades without loss and even profits at times. Its move includes the dismissal of some of the staff, while employees who quit on their own initiative are not being replaced.
