A United States administration official has told Arutz 7 that, for the time being, the possibility of recognizing eastern Jerusalem as the Palestinian capital is not being considered or on the agenda.
The official was responding to a senior political source in the Yediot Ahronot newspaper that if the results of the midterm elections in the US would weaken the Republicans, the pressure on US President Donald Trump to reach a political settlement between Israel and the Palestinians would increase.
