In a post on Twitter, Speaker of the Knesset, Yuli Edelstein (Likud) attacked the speech of the director of the far-left NGO Btselem, Hagai Elad, writing:
"The lies of the director of Btselem proves that the organization does not have any legitimacy. A day after Palestinian terrorists fire a rocket at the home of three small children, Hagai Elad finds it fit to spread lies in an attempt to harm Israel's right to defend itself. Btselem, Shame!"
