In a press release, the CEO of the Zionist NGO ImTirtzu, Matan Peleg, slammed Btselem director Hagai Elad writing:
"This slanderous speech given at the encouragement of B'Tselem's foreign government patrons is an affront to the Israeli public. The State of Israel needs to reject all organizations that work from within against the state and its people. This includes taxing the tremendous budgets that these NGOs receive from foreign governments."
