Deputy Minister Michael Oren (Kulanu) welcomed the US decision to close the American consulate in Jerusalem and to provide Arabs with service at the embassy which opened in May.
"A great day for Israel, for Jerusalem, and for the United States," Oren said, noting that Secretary of State Pompeo's decision marks the American support for the Israeli capital, "Israel is grateful," The Deputy Minister added.
