The Movement for Quality Government has petitioned the High Court of Justice against Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked (Jewish Home), claiming that she must explain why she did not suspend Attorney Effie Naveh from his position on the Judicial Appointments Committee in light of the investigation against him.
"Naveh's continued tenure on the committee undermines the public's trust, erodes the status of the committee and damages its image, its work, and its prestige," the petition said.
