Deputy Defense Minister Eli Ben-Dahan (Jewish Home) responded Wednesday to the Knesset's question regarding the preparedness of the southern region for prolonged fighting. This comes in light of the rocket fire that hit the city of Beersheva recently.
He noted that "the Iron Dome battery will be deployed in the Beersheva area in the coming days, perhaps even in the evening."
