Israel's ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, turned to the UN Security Council president on Wednesday morning and called on him to condemn the rocket fire that took place in southern Israel overnight Tuesday.
"The State of Israel received another reminder of the terror of the Hamas organization which fired rockets at houses in the south of the country last night. These are criminal terrorists who caused small children to run from their beds towards a protected area in the middle of the night until they suffered a panic attack in the face of the scenes of destruction,” he wrote.
"At this moment, the Security Council is expected to sound a clear condemnation of Hamas instead of legitimizing the B’Tselem organization that was invited to the council's discussion tomorrow and is preparing to slander IDF soldiers," the ambassador concluded.
